Our Story

As Bliss Hair Design, we were a family of passionate stylists nestled in the heart of Portobello, Edinburgh. As previously mentioned the work/life balance was not as good as I needed it to be, so I decided to wind down the business. That meant changes for the girls and myself. So at a time that suited us all, I closed BLiss. As you can imagine we were a close knit team who enjoyed working together so it was not an easy decision to make but it was a necessary one. We’ve all parted on good terms and are still in touch with each other but I was sad to see our time together come to an end.

Another Chapter

On a happier note the work/life balance is much better as I can still carry on as a hair stylist but give more of my time to my family. My new salon is in Rosewell (seventysevenhair.co.uk)
but I am still taking appointments from my clients who prefer to come to Portobello for their hair appointment. I have set aside Wednesday’s for working in Portobello at Unity Hair Studio just across the road from BLiss and I’ve kept the same contact telephone number.
